Privacy Policy – LinkedExp

LinkedExp is a Chrome extension designed to help users export LinkedIn posts, comments, reactions, hashtags, images and sentiment data from profiles or company pages into a CSV for analysis. This Privacy Policy explains what data is accessed, how it is used, and your rights as a user.

Data We Access

LinkedExp does not collect any personally identifiable information (PII), health information, financial or payment data, authentication information, personal communications or location data.

The only data accessed by LinkedExp is:

• LinkedIn page content (posts, comments, reactions, hashtags, images and post type) on pages the user explicitly chooses to scrape.

• User-selected export options such as which fields to include.

All data processing happens locally in the user’s browser. No information is transmitted to external servers.

User Activity

LinkedExp does not track user activity outside of the explicit scraping actions. The extension only interacts with the LinkedIn pages the user opens and chooses to scrape.

No background monitoring of browsing behavior occurs and the extension does not store or share browsing history.

Storage

LinkedExp temporarily stores user-selected fields, scraping progress and preview data in the browser’s local storage during the session. This data is only used to allow preview and export functionality and is not shared externally.

Security

All data remains within the browser and is not uploaded to any servers. Users are responsible for securely handling exported CSV files.

User Rights
You have the right to:

• Access the data you export using LinkedExp.

• Delete any locally stored data by clearing your browser’s local storage.

• Stop using the extension at any time.

Data sharing
We do not sell, share or transfer any user data to third parties.

Changes to this policy
LinkedExp may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. Changes will be reflected on this page and the “Effective Date” will be updated accordingly.
